I’ve finally got around to posting Stef and Tori’s beautiful wedding at the Oak Barn in Hittisleigh. Stef and Tori are such a wonderful couple and an absolute pleasure to work with.
Buried away deep in the Devon countryside with sweeping views onto Dartmoor, The Oak Barn is nestled within a working farm surrounded by open fields. It is a truly beautiful setting for any wedding. The venue had recently completed the restoration of an 18th century granary building with cob walls, thatched roof and locally sourced green oak frame. Christened “The Acorn Barn” we were lucky enough to be one of the first weddings to use it. I shouldn’t forget the beautifully maintained garden that surrounds the buildings that is stunning to look at any time of the year.
Stef and Tori looked absolutely stunning in their dresses, both designed by dressmaker, Kate Walker, based in Honiton. Both of the dresses, although different in style, both complimented each other perfectly. Aftternoon tea, was the theme for the table decorations which where simply stunning and the time and dedication for every detail was evident. Each place had it’s own vintage cup and saucer all sourced by Stef and Tori over the years leading to the wedding. Not to mention the vintage teapots, wonderfully crafted flowers and a small tower of cakey goodness! With the weather on our side all day, we made it out in the evening into an adjacent field for some photographs of the sunset. A wonderful day for such a wonderful couple. I hope you enjoy looking through this selection of the day.
