Polhawn Fort really lived up to it’s image as I arrived on a blustery and wet day in February. Driving along the Cornish coast I couldn’t see much in front of me until the cloud cleared and the Fort appeared. Clung to the side of the cliff face it’s an incredible structure. The 4ft thick walls doing their job and keeping the elements out. Needless to say, inside the atmosphere was calm as Dan and Lucy got ready for their big day.
The huge stone archways and brick ceilings was a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and Lucy looked particularly stunning in her dress. Although the rain kept us in for a short while it did retreat and we were able to capture some shots before darkness fell. The night descended into some amazing speeches before an amazing party at the end.
